SSA Glass Sweet Lola

Sweet Lola is a simple, yet fabulous glass dildo that is designed for G-spot stimulation, and boy, did it give me quite the experience! The handle on this toy makes it very easy to hold onto and fun to use with a partner. Glass is great for those interested in temperature play, and is beautiful to look at. This dildo is totally smooth and could be used by new and advanced users alike. It does wonders for G-spot stimulation and is a great tool to use if you’re exploring the world of female ejaculation. Sweet Lola is also safe to use for P-spot play because the flare of the handle will keep the toy from getting inserted too far.

Of course with glass I recommend taking it easy at first, and find what you’re comfortable with, especially if you’re new to glass. And make sure if you are using this toy with a partner that they understand they need to take care not to get too carried away.

SSA Glass Sweet Lola

Sweet Lola is made of borosilicate glass, which some people will know as Pyrex. Glass is weighty and feels nice and solid in your hand, but it’s not as heavy as steel. If you are new to glass toys, start slow, because glass is totally rigid and it is possible to bruise yourself if you get too carried away.
At first glass will feel slightly cool to the touch until it warms to your body temperature. Fans of temperature play like glass because it can be chilled in ice water or warmed with warm tap water, and it will retain the temperature better than other materials.

Glass is rated a 10 on the EdenFantasys material safety scale. It’s chemical-free and non-porous which means it can’t harbor any harmful bacteria so long as you keep the surface clean.
It glides right along the skin without any drag and many people say they don’t need to use lubricants with glass toys. If you want to use a lube with this toy you can feel free to any kind of lube you please.

I got my Lola in purple and the color will seem to change depending on the lighting of the room I’m in. Because glass toys are handmade, they tend to vary a little bit from piece to piece.

Cleaning, Care and Storage

Sweet Lola is incredibly easy to clean, because it’s glass and very smooth. I prefer to take it to the sink and spray it with toy cleaner and rinse it off. You can use soap and water, dish detergent, toy wipes or even throw it in the dishwasher or use boiling to sanitize it.

Be sure to store your toys in a safe place where they won’t be knocked around or have the potential to fall. Glass is very hard and resilient, but they can be chipped if they get hit. Be careful when cleaning your glass toys because they get slippery when wet and are easy to drop. Always check your glass toys for cracks or chips before you use them, because you don’t want broken glass to cut any of your sensitive areas.

SSA Glass Sweet Lola

As with other SSA glass toy, the packaging for Sweet Lola is very minimal, but useful. My toy came wrapped in a little bit of bubble wrap and then placed in a small red velvet pouch. The pouch measures 8.75” x 3” and is unpadded and has a drawstring for closure. I don’t mind this style of packaging because it is something I’ll use and there’s no bulky box that I’ll just end up tossing anyways.

The Amethyst by SSA was my first glass toy ever, and I really liked it. I also have the Pure Wand and I’ve come to find that I really like the bulb and stem style dildos for G-spot stimulation.

Lola’s bulb is a good bit larger than the Amethyst and small end of the Pure Wand; it does provide more of a full feeling than either of the other two. The bulb doesn’t offer as much pinpoint G-spot stimulation because it is larger, but it can still get the job done.
This toy can be thrust for a more intense sensation, or twisted and rocked for a gentler experience. Enjoyment and function vary from person to person and it really comes down to your anatomy and finding what works the best for you.

Since glass is smooth it should glide easily. The toy can be chilled or warmed in water to provide some extra sensory fun. The handle makes this toy great for partner play; just make sure to communicate to your partner to be careful because glass is so unforgiving.

The glass is a little weighty, but it shouldn’t be tiresome on the wrists. As I stated before, care should be taken not to thrust too hard or too deep because this can cause internal bruising.

The reason for the title for this review is that Lola made me squirt more so than I even have before with any other toy. It absolutely shocked me. I’ve never had it happen like that before. It was pretty intense. I’m not at all saying it was bad, it was just so unexpected! If you’re a fan of squirting, or trying to achieve it for the first time, I recommend giving Lola a go!

This general design has been used by a number of different brands. SheVibe carries a version by Spartacus Glass that appears to be nearly identical and comes in both blue and clear glass.
