The Virtue Trio is a G-spot vibe from NS Novelties. It has 3 motors in the shaft, which deliver 10 functions of vibration and pulsation at 3 different intensities.
The Trio has a lovely curve that is designed to hit the G-spot and a bump at the base of the shaft that is supposed to provide clitoral stimulation. This toy would also be safe for anal use because it has a nice handle that would keep the toy from being inserted too far.
I think everyone could love the Virtue Trio. It has a very smooth shaft and the size shouldn’t be a problem for beginners. I think this toy would definitely appeal to advanced users because it’s rechargeable, has decent power, and has a whopping 3 motors.
The Trio is very easy to care for and clean, but remember that it’s only splash proof, so it shouldn’t be fully submerged.
The Virtue Trio comes in two colors, purple and pink. The shaft of the Trio is made from body-safe silicone, and the handle portion of the toy is made from velvety ABS plastic. Both of these materials are non-porous and they will not harbor harmful bacteria in the materials.
The Trio’s silicone is velvety and smooth, with just a tiny bit of drag. Luckily this toy does not appear to be a huge lint magnet, just a few fibers here or there. When using a lubricant with this toy, make sure to use a water-based lube and not one that’s silicone-based. Silicone lubes can have chemical reactions with silicone toys, resulting in the material getting ruined.
The Virtue Trio is a total of 7.75” long, with an insertable length of 4”. The head of the toy has a circumference of 4.5”, but the rest of the shaft is between 3.5” and 3” around. The Trio features a handle with a hole in the center that measures 1” in diameter, so getting 2 of my fingers in there is rather tight. The Trio also has a bump at the base of the shaft, near the start of the handle; this bump is designed to provide clitoral stimulation.
There are also 5 small ridges down the back of the shaft, but I haven’t really been able to feel them. The shaft is flexible, allowing it to bend and conform to the body.
The Virtue Trio is controlled by 3 buttons on the handle of the toy. There is a + and – button, which control the intensity level of the vibrations. All the other operations are controlled by the function button which has a circle on it.
The Trio features a total of 10 vibration modes with 3 intensities.
To turn the toy on, press and hold the function button for 2 seconds. The toy will start up with just the motor in the head of the toy vibrating. You can use the + and – buttons to adjust the intensity of vibration on any of the vibration modes. To cycle through all the different modes, press the function button again.
The different modes are;
1. Only the motor in the tip of the toy.
2. Only the center motor.
3. Only the motor at the base of the shaft.
4. Alternating; base, center, tip.
5. Alternating pulses between base and tip motors, where the tip motor alternates in intensity every 2 beats.
6. Slow alternating pulses from tip, to center, to base.
7. Faster alternating pulses from tip, to center, to base.
8. Alternating pulses between tip and base motors.
9. All motors steady vibrations that increase in intensity over 15 seconds, then drop back to the beginning and start over
10. Very fast alternating pulses between all 3 motors.
Once you’ve hit the end, you can just press the function key and you will be taken back to the first function.
To turn the toy off, press and hold the function button for 2 seconds.
The Trio’s vibration strength is pretty decent, I’d say about 4 vrooms. The noise level is pretty good too, I would give it 2 bees on the highest settings.
Cleaning and Charging
The Virtue Trio is water resistant, so this makes cleaning a little easier. I spray my toys down with toy cleaner and rinse them off in the sink. You can also use soap and water or toy wipes if you prefer. Because this toy is silicone, you can use a 10% bleach solution to sanitize it.
The charging port for the Trio is located on the handle, near the controls. The charging port is similar in style to that of the Jopen and Leaf toys. The port is covered by a silicone flap that has a little hole in it, when the jack isn’t plugged in the hole stays tightly closed. You do have to press the jack a little bit to stretch open the hole when inserting it. When you plug the toy in, all of the controls will light up and flash to indicate that the toy is connected and charging. When charging is complete, the lights will stop flashing and turn solid.
The booklet says that you should be able to get at least 2 hours of play out of each full charge.
The packaging for the Virtue Trio is very nice. The outer portion of the box is a slip cover that has some basic info printed on it along with a few images of the toy. The inner box has almost the same design of the outer cover, but instead of the image of the product on the front of the box, there’s a window that shows you the actual toy. Once you lift off the lid you’ll find the toy nestled in black foam, along with its charger and instruction booklet.
When I saw the Virtue Trio was coming out, I knew I had to have it. I’m a huge fan of dual-motored vibrators, and I was sure that having 3 motors was going to be even better.
I love my curved G-spot vibes, here’s how the shape and size of the Virtue Trio compares to a few of my favorites, the Moka (left) and the Rondo (right):
I really like the shape of the Virtue, and the size is very comfortable. The vibrations are a good strength and I like that this toy offers a good bit of variety. It also lets you set the intensity of the patterns, as well as the steady vibration modes.
The curve is very nice and I find that I can access my G-spot pretty well with the head of this toy. Both rocking, and thrusting this toy works very well. And I find the handle and the flexibility of the shaft make this toy excellent for using with a partner as well.
A note, normally the bump style clitoral stimulator do nothing for me, but I noticed with this toy that I did get a bit of extra stimulation, not enough to fully satisfy me, but I was glad the bump was actually doing something.
My only complaint with this toy is that sometimes the buttons are a little hard to push, yet it’s not too much of a problem. Overall I think this toy is great.
Whether with a partner or solo, the Virtue Trio is very enjoyable. This toy has quickly become one of my favorites.
